East Ridge (III 5.5) - Route Description
This is the best alpine climb in the Jasper area. Edith Cavell is one of the best recognized peaks in the Rockies and
has long been a draw for tourists and climbers alike. The East Ridge climb starts with a short approach and snow slope to
gain the ridge. The lower part of the ridge consists mostly of scrambling until the plateau is reached half way up the mountain.
The upper ridge offers excellent rock climbing and ridge travel to the top of this majestic peak. Depending upon conditions,
descent will be made either back down the route, or down the West face.

North Face(IV 5.7)
This excellent north face route is only available to return guests who have proved their ability to move quickly on
difficult alpine terrain. It is a serious undertaking that is often only in condition late in the summer.
