The climb is usually done as 3 or 4 pitches, with the crux coming about two thirds of the way up. Most years some funky ice mushrooms provide the technical crux as well as a good pump as you pick your way around, through, and over them! Location: Radium Highway (Hwy 93 South). 45 minutes from Canmore. Length: 160m Grade: WI6 Logistics: Climbs at the Stanley Headwall are best done as day trips from Canmore or Banff.
