Mt Lorette

The striking South Ridge of Mt. Lorette is a Kananaskis classic!  It involves excellent alpine rock climbing and scrambling along a narrow ridge.  The climbing along this long ridge is never too hard but it is very exposed and exciting in spots!  One of the cruxes involves stepping across a gap in the ridge with an intimidating drop below.  It is in a dry area so has reliably good conditions throughout the summer and into the fall.
